All Meetings are In-Person meetings at the Community Center. We will provide Zoom accessibility for those that cannot make it in person. See the links on the left for up-to-date information

An IRD is an Interactive Remote Demonstration by a professional woodturner from their remote studio.

Mentoring and Woodturning Introduction Sessions:
2nd Saturday of each Month

New and prospective members are always welcome to the Saturday Skill Center sessions from 9AM -Noon on the 2nd Saturday of each Month. New turners will get a safety orientation and an opportunity to make some shavings. Just show up or let Jim Oates know you are coming.

For novice and experienced turners, several Mentors will be available for one-on-one mentoring. Please contact Jim Oates if you have a specific request for mentoring so we can plan to meet your request. Contact Jim Oates.

Drop-In Saturday
4th Saturday of the Month

On the 4th Saturday of the month from 9AM -Noon., CVW will host a session in the Skill Center for Members Only. Members at all levels of turning skill (beginners, intermediate turners, mentors, and professionals) are invited to come share recent achievements or challenges they’ve faced or for mentoring help with projects or techniques.  This is a time to visit, share, and exchange ideas while working at our lathes or just sitting down together. Club Store

The Club Store will be open during the monthly meetings and the Skill Center Sessions.

In case of inclement weather check the left column of the website for announcements of possible cancellations.

Skill Center & Mentoring Sessions

Skill Center and Mentoring Sessions will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9AM-Noon. New and prospective members are always welcome – no experience is necessary. The Club Store will be open at this time.

Drop-in Saturday will be on the 4th Saturday of the month held in the Skill Center from 9AM-Noon for Members of all levels of are invited to come.
